- Edited one year agowe don't need it on a vinyl release guys (stop the madness), this is most probably a digital recording hence all we need is a digital release without the loudness/limiting war simple as that
- I'm British, but lived in Atlanta for 15 years or so until recently and played with a bunch of local musicians who had encountered Curtis during his later years living in the city. I also remember this album coming out when I was a kid and was really into Curtis' golden era recordings. However, I never realized that he worked with Organized Noize on this album until now - wow! I wonder if this was somehow connected to Sleepy Brown's Dad Jimmy Brown being in Brick? Sleepy has always had that Mayfield vibe to his vocals, he must have been taking notes during this project.
- Unfortunately Curtis made this album at a time when vinyl was left for dead & cds dominated. The industry was trying to kill off vinyl. Hopefully Warner records will finally release this on a 2xlp set.
- I am the Rosmary Woods who contributed to this album by Mayfield. My name is spelled without an "e". As it appears in teh original liner notes and Warner Bros release. As well as on my own site http://www.rosmarywoods.com. For some reason the current Discogs liner credits show a Rosemary Woods with an "e" and provides a link to that individual's work. I trust that this matter will be corrected soon so as not to further confuse royalty reporting.
