- Joe KemchiTel Aviv, Israel258 contributionsWe parked in the parking lot just inside the Wingate Institute. The start of the trial leads you over through the sand dunes and down to the beach. The walk is pleasant and there are a lot of families enjoying the fresh air.Written April 2, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - David-Miriam-CohenIsrael292 contributionsWe took a slow walk from the Turtle Bridge to the ocean, about 45 minutes in each direction. It was very hot, but there is a breeze from the water and plenty of shade. No water on the path, so be sure to bring.
The estuary is well off the beaten track, quiet, clean, and very nice. Not safe to bathe there, but there is a free beach a couple hundred meters south.Written June 22, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. They had brought in a member of the Israel astronomy Society who gave an excellent talk on the Universe and our place in the scheme of things. Made us realise how insignificant we are. We visited various areas of the Planetanya culminating in a visit to the planetarium. The Japanese garden was interesting but needed some TLC. Great interactive exhibits outside, especially for children. There is an emphasis on Japanese culture which is as it should be. This place is great for Hebrew speakers, especially children Hopefully it will go from strength to strengthWritten August 15, 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
