For some, country music can be repetitive. For others, it's a good time waiting to happen. For Nashville recording artist, Grayson May, country music is a way of life.

Growing up in Bastrop, Louisiana, Grayson was raised on country music. With his dad being a pastor and his mom being a school teacher, Grayson grew up to have a morally strong work ethic. He was taught to do everything to the best of his ability. Grayson played organized basketball from age three to age eighteen. He still enjoys playing today. A love for rodeo in his life started from watching his uncle rope and his aunt barrel race. While he's never been the best in the saddle, he still has a deep passion for the cowboy way of life.

The love for rodeo, basketball, and country music is what makes up Grayson's life. He has played with acts such as Neal McCoy, Dylan Scott, Chris Lane, and many more. Grayson has made a name for himself by traveling to many different venues and leaving his heart and soul on the stage and with the crowd night after night. Grayson is widely influenced by names such as Cody Johnson, Jason Aldean, Billy Currington, Jon Pardi, George Strait, Don Williams, etc. He can really work a crowd by including many sing-alongs and heart-felt songs.

Grayson builds his life around a love for Jesus Christ and the motto "no backup plan." When these two things combine, he believes anything is possible. When asked what he thinks the future will hold, this was his response: "The future is looking great right now. God has really done something amazing in my life by allowing me to do what I love, and it shows no sign of stopping. I'm always looking forward to getting on that stage and giving it my all, and that will never change."
