This rose garden is located adjacent to the Yatsu Higata (tidal flat). The garden boasts an area so large that it would take more than 30 minutes just to walk around it. The south and north sides of the garden are slightly elevated, so the view of the rose garden is designed to be enjoyed from all directions, taking advantage of the difference in the terraces. Although small in scale, the garden is divided into several areas, where visitors can enjoy a variety of rose varieties, including roses developed and presented for royalty and royalty, and roses with a mellow fragrance.
Spring roses can be enjoyed from May to June, and autumn roses from October to November. The park is open to visitors during the rest of the year, but of course the roses are not in bloom. There are benches set up throughout the park for visitors to take a rest, but during the period when the roses are not in bloom, it is better to think of the park as just another resting spot. It should be noted that the admission fee varies depending on when the roses are in bloom or not bloom at all.
The higher elevations in the park are equipped not only with stairs but also with ramps, so that visitors with disabilities such as wheelchairs can easily use the park.

Located entirely within the city limits of Narashino, Yatsu-higata, or Yatsu Tidal Flat (or Tideland) is worth a look. As far as I understand, much of the shoreline of Tokyo Bay looked something like what can be seen at this location, and so it's kind of a look back in time. Walking all the way around the flat takes an hour or so and is worth it if you're looking for relaxation and a good view of birdlife. This is one of Chiba Prefecture's Ramsar sites (a designated nature site) for good reason, as there are plenty of birds and other animals to observe.

I went to Kikuta Jinja (Shinto shrine) in Narashino City, Chiba Prefecture during the shichigosan period. Shichigosan is a ritual to wish for the wellbeing of children at Shinto shrines.,Kikuta Jinja is a fifteen minutes’ walk from JR Tsudanuma Station on the Soubu Line. It is an old shrine that dates back to the Heian era. The site must have been an island before modern land reclamation took place. It is a quiet place with an amazingly large shrine grounds in the middle of high rise apartments. Prayers could be heard from the main shrine so prayers must have been offered inside. Outside the main shrine were some families that wished to offer prayers only.

While visiting family in Tsudanuma I did a lot of walking and just by chance came across this very peaceful park in a forest setting .
A lovely big pond and a smaller one were jumping with some sort of fish, some of them quite big, it was lovely to see them moving through the water as the sunlight sparkled through the trees then jump and flop back down with a splash, I presume they were feeding on insects on the surface. I also spotted some turtles as well. On one section of the pond their was a mass of beautiful white water flowers with huge green leaves. There is plenty of seating and toilet facilities. Also there is an old logging train on display. Such a lovely spot to come and get away from a busy lifestyle for a while, maybe have a picnic, I know we would do that if we lived nearby, enjoyable.

It's a small short visit next to Fujisaki Forest Park, consider it a compliment to viewing nature, ducks and an old train whilst walking around or having a little picnic. The gentleman at the time who was the guardian offered to walk us through the home and bring it to life in a complimentary guided experience in Japanese. The small home is beautifully preserved and he was quite knowledgeable and kind.
