Henry Kissinger Family -
Henry Kissinger's first marriage was to Ann Fleischer, a union that lasted from 1949 to 1964. The two dated in high school and remained in touch while he was serving in the Army. They tied the knot on February 6, 1949 in the presence of their friends, family, and loved ones.
Kissinger was studying at Harvard College at the time of their wedding. The couple had two children - Elizabeth and David. They, however, split in 1964. The reason for their split is not known. Fleischer then married Dr. Saul G. Cohen, who died from heart failure in 2010 at the age of 93.
Meanwhile, Kissinger married Nancy Maginnes on March 30, 1974, in Arlington, Virginia. The two met during her time as a student at Harvard, where he was a professor. Maginnes, whose father was football player Albert Bristol Maginnes, was a long-time aide to New York Governor Nelson Rockefeller before her marriage.
David Kissinger, Henry's son from his first marriage, graduated from Yale University in 1983 and went on to become a speechwriter in England. Returning to the US, he held executive positions, ultimately becoming the head of Conaco, Conan O’Brien’s production company, in 2005.
Elizabeth, born in Boston in 1959, has maintained a private life, avoiding public appearances.
