Juvonen co-founded the production company Flower Films in 1995 with Barrymore, who was just 19 years old when the two ladies met. How did Jimmy Fallon meet his wife Nancy Juvonen?
The couple first met on the set of Saturday Night Live when Barrymore was hosting the show. "I kind of crept in quietly and all of a sudden Jimmy goes, 'Hey, Nancy! You're Nancy? Hi, it’s so nice to meet you, welcome!'" Juvonen recalled on The Tonight Show: At Home Edition. "And I felt just so embraced and like cool, like, 'Thank you! Thank you for welcoming me in."
However, the now-54-year-old Juvonen "really developed a crush" on the 46-year-old Fallon when he and Barrymore crossed paths again on Fever Pitch. She said, "We were on location and that really creates this, like, camp feel for everybody. And he was just so friendly and fun and welcoming and he loved music and then when I really developed a crush was when [co-producer] Bradley Thomas' kids came to set and he had a little girl named Lucy and a little boy named Charlie and I played with Lucy and Jimmy played with Charlie and really played, like really into it, as if they’d come to visit us and so, I think that’s when my heart just sort of melted even more."
The pair flirted and got to know each other for months without ever actually going on a date. "We got to just be pals and have crushes," Juvonen said. The duo ended up reconnecting in London when it came time to sell the movie. Fallon remembered telling Juvonen, "Hey, I miss you. I wanna hang out with you." Fallon proposed to Juvonen in August 2007. As he recalled during an "Ask the Fallons" segment on The Tonight Show in 2020, he didn't want to pop the question at a place like a restaurant, "because what if in 30 years the restaurant changes hands, now it's a laser-tag place. Now it's like, 'Kids, this is where your mom and I got engaged at the laser-tag house.'"
Instead, Fallon proposed on a dock at Juvonen's family home in New Hampshire. "I said, in my head, 'Don’t cry. Let her cry first if someone will cry,'" he recalled. "As soon as I even remotely pulled the ring out of my pocket, I started crying. And I get down on one knee and I’m like shaking—my voice is quivering. It looks like I’m having a heart attack. Nancy’s like, 'Are you OK, dude? Are you gonna be all right?’ And then I just said, ‘Hey, will you marry me?’ And you said yes."

Fallon and Juvonen got married in December 2007 on billionaire Richard Branson's Necker Island, which is located in the British Virgin Islands. Fallon had spoken with his travel agent about possibly doing a destination wedding and admitted that his dream location would be Branson's island—and as it turned out, Branson was a huge fan of Fallon's!
"[My travel agent] calls, he goes, 'Richard is a fan, he likes you, so he'll rent you the island for two days,' I want to say?" Fallon revealed on yet another "Ask the Fallons" Tonight Show segment. Juvonen added, "It was like three days. We got this place for three days, so Jimmy goes, 'What if we got married in three weeks, instead of next summer?' And I'm like, 'This is the best idea of all human time.' So we had 12 people at our wedding. I just got a dress done as fast as I could. We didn't care."

The couple has two daughters. They welcomed Winnie Rose Fallon in 2013, followed by Frances Cole Fallon in 2014. Both of Fallon and Juvonen's little girls were born via surrogate.

The couple has been open about their fertility struggles. "We've tried a bunch of things," Fallon—who was inspired by fatherhood to author a children's book, Your Baby's First Word Will Be DADA—told TODAY's Savannah Guthrie shortly after Winnie's birth. "Anyone who's tried will know, it's just awful."
Juvonen noted on "Ask the Fallons" that she and her husband were ready to have children when they got married. "It wasn’t even like 'Are you ready?' It was just like, 'Now how are you going to do this?' And that was a whole other question," she said. "That was five years of really, really, really, really, really deciding not to give up."
Juvonen has also encouraged others to keep trying. "I think if anyone’s out there having the dream, do not give up,” she said.
