TNT’s 65-Game Schedule to Include Emirates NBA Cup, MLK Day, NBA Rivals Week, Kevin Durant Homecoming Game in Austin & Marquee Doubleheaders Throughout the Season

NBA on TNT will feature a 65-game schedule during the 2024-25 NBA regular season, starting with a blockbuster Opening Night doubleheader featuring the NBA Champion Boston Celtics with Jayson Tatum, Jaylen Brown and Jrue Holiday hosting the New York Knicks with Jalen Brunson, new addition Mikal Bridges and Julius Randle, Tuesday, Oct. 22, at 7:30 p.m. ET. The night’s second game will feature the Los Angeles Lakers with LeBron James and Anthony Davis hosting the Minnesota Timberwolves with Anthony Edwards and Karl-Anthony Towns at 10 p.m. 

 

TNT’s 2024Kia NBA Tip-Off Opening Week coverage will continue on Thursday, Oct. 24, with the San Antonio Spurs and Victor Wembanyama and newly added Chris Paul visiting the Dallas Mavericks with Luka Doncic, Kyrie Irving and offseason addition Klay Thompson at 7:30 p.m., followed by the Denver Nuggets and Nikola Jokic hosting the Oklahoma City Thunder and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander at 10 p.m.

 

The network’s second week will feature the Golden State Warriors and Stephen Curry hosting the New Orleans Pelicans and Zion Williamson on Tuesday, Oct. 29, at 10 p.m. Earlier in the night the defending Western Conference champion Mavericks will visit the Timberwolves at 7:30 p.m. 

 

TNT will showcase Emirates NBA Cup Group Play action throughout November. The first Cup Night – Tuesday, Nov. 12 – will feature the Philadelphia 76ers and Joel Embiid hosting the Knicks and Brunson in a rematch of last season’s first-round playoff series, at 7:30 p.m. In the second game, the Mavericks will visit the Warriors as Thompson returns to Chase Center to face the team with whom he won four NBA championships at 10 p.m.

 

Martin Luther King Jr. Day coverage on Monday, Jan. 20, will be highlighted by the Memphis Grizzlies and Ja Morant hosting the Timberwolves and Edwards at 2:30 p.m., followed by the Celtics and Tatum visiting the Warriors and Curry at 5 p.m.

  • Two of the Western Conference’s top stars will meet when the Nuggets and Jokic host the Warriors and Curry on Tuesday, Dec. 3, at 10 p.m. Earlier in the night, the Orlando Magic and Paolo Banchero will visit the Knicks and Brunson at 7:30 p.m. 

 

  • TNT returns to Thursdays with the Magic and Banchero hosting the Thunder and Chet Holmgren on Dec. 19, at 7 p.m., followed by the Atlanta Hawks and Trae Young visiting the Spurs and Wembanyama at 9:30 p.m. 

 

  • Following the New Year, TNT will showcase a star-studded doubleheader with the Celtics and Tatum visiting the Timberwolves and Edwards on Thursday, Jan. 2, at 7:30 p.m., followed by the Warriors and Curry hosting the 76ers and Paul George at 10 p.m. 

 

  • A standout Tuesday night doubleheader will tip off with the Lakers and James visiting the Mavericks and Kyrie Irving on Jan. 7, at 7:30 p.m., followed by a meeting of the past two NBA Champions – Celtics at Nuggets – at 10 p.m. 

 

  • NBA Rivals Week will tip off on Tuesday, Jan. 21 with an intracity game – the Knicks and Bridges will visit the Brooklyn Nets and Cameron Johnson at 7:30 p.m. – followed by a pair of recent Kia NBA MVPs facing off with the Nuggets and Jokic hosting the 76ers and Embiid at 10 p.m. 

 

  • The Celtics visiting the Lakers will highlight TNT’s NBA Rivals Week coverage on Thursday, Jan. 23, at 10 p.m. In the early game, the Bucks and Damian Lillard will host the Miami Heat and Jimmy Butler at 7:30 p.m. 

 

  • A marquee doubleheader on Thursday, Feb. 6, will tip off with the Mavericks and Doncic visiting the Celtics and Brown, in an NBA Finals rematch at 7:30 p.m., followed by a meeting of Western Conference rivals – Warriors at Lakers – at 10 p.m.  

 

  • TNT will feature a rematch of last year’s seven-game Playoffs series when the Indiana Pacers and Tyrese Haliburton host the Knicks and Brunson on Tuesday, Feb. 11, at 7:30 p.m. Later, the Grizzlies and Morant will visit the Phoenix Suns and Kevin Durant at 10 p.m. 

 

  • Leading into NBA All-Star 2025, TNT will feature a single game night on Thursday, Feb. 13, with the Timberwolves and Rudy Gobert hosting the Thunder and Holmgren at 8:30 p.m. 

 

  • Durant – a 14-time NBA All-Star – will return to the University of Texas on Thursday, Feb. 20, at 9:30 p.m., for a special on-campus game when the Suns play the Spurs at the Moody Center where he was a standout for the Longhorns. In the first game of the night, Eastern Conference rivals, the Celtics and 76ers, will meet in Philadelphia at 7 p.m. 

 

  • The Warriors and Curry will visit the Knicks and Bridges on Tuesday, March 4, at 7:30 p.m., followed by the Suns and Devin Booker hosting the LA Clippers and Kawhi Leonard at 10 p.m. 

 

  • The 76ers will visit the Celtics to lead off a blockbuster doubleheader on Thursday, March 6, at 7:30 p.m., followed by the Lakers hosting the Knicks at 10 p.m. 

 

  • The Milwaukee Bucks and Giannis Antetokounmpo will host the Lakers and James on Thursday, March 13, at 7:30 p.m., followed by the Sacramento Kings and DeMar DeRozan visiting the Warriors and Draymond Green at 10 p.m. 

 

  • The final month of the regular season will tip off with the 76ers and George visiting the Knicks and Bridges on Tuesday, April 1, at 7:30 p.m., followed by the Nuggets and Jokic hosting the Timberwolves and Edwards at 10 p.m. 

 

  • A night filled with former Kia NBA MVPs will include a meeting between James and Curry in the final stretch of the season as the Lakers host the Warriors on Thursday, April 3, at 10 p.m. Earlier in the night, the Bucks and Antetokounmpo will visit the 76ers and Embiid at 7:30 p.m. 

 

  • Conference foes will meet on the final Tuesday of the regular season when the Celtics and Tatum visit the Knicks and Brunson on April 8, at 7:30 p.m. Later, the Suns and Durant will host the Warriors and Curry at 10 p.m. 

 

  • TNT’s regular season coverage will wrap up on Thursday, April 10, with the Cleveland Cavaliers and Donovan Mitchell visiting the Pacers and Haliburton at 7 p.m., followed by the Grizzlies and Morant hosting the Timberwolves and Edwards at 9:30 p.m. 

 

The network will also televise NBA All-Star 2025 from San Francisco, Friday, Feb. 14 through Sunday, Feb. 16 and the most NBA playoff games of any network, culminating with the exclusive presentation of the 2025 NBA Eastern Conference Finals
