The two albums on this CD were both originally released in 1974. This was right in the middle of Rodriguez’ most successful recording period and both of these LPs reached the top 10 in Billboard’s Country Music chart.

So Very Nice to get TWO albums on one CD. Glad they are re-issuing JOHNNY RODRIGUEZ on CDs. Can't very well carry a turntable around in a car and no cars come with 8-track or cassette players anymore!!

Really love to hear his voice. Every song is a masterpiece. It's great having two albums on one CD. The sound reproduction is amazing. A true must-have for lovers of 70's Country music.

Brilliant. I bought these two albums in the 1970s

Brilliant. I bought these two albums in the 1970s. All good songs - but worth buying just for his version of "The Last Letter". This is the only way to get that track on CD. But as I said earlier - every track is really good. Great voice.
