OP must be fun to watch movies, TV programs with

"Who's that guy? Why did he do that? What happened just now?" every 5 minutes before falling asleep mid-scrolling

Look at him, he knows everything

This isn't just a me thing lmao. So far I've yet to speak to anyone about this show who actually knew Ray's name. I actually don't know if I can remember anyone saying it during the show either.

What this OP doesn't know could fill a book

It's easy to miss the side characters if you're only focused on the main ones.

Shows like the The Sopranos, The Wire and Oz are ensemble pieces that rewards looking at the whole scene including the bit players.

So even if on a secondary watch you have to rewind a scene to catch some dialogue or a glance, it's worth it.

The show focuses on only what's really in Tony's line of sight, his direct everyday 'crew'

For example, you mostly only see whoever is in his direct line of operations, even though there are other crews under his leadership (Lupertazzi), Ralph operating in Florida before being introduced in the series.

They would need to spend an entire season just introducing "everybody". So I don't mind the way it's done.

But there are some odd ones 1) The guy who comes outta nowhere, and kills Phil. 2) Bert. The guy who Sil kills for playing both sides. 3) Tony Seragusa cameo lol
