Between the sixth sense and hereditary as well as some of her thriller rolls in the staircase. She is by far my favorite star to watch in horror. Wish she did more of it. I can’t think of an actress like her. Such a dynamic range.

I will have to give Pearl a shot. I wrote it off due to seemingly being an off shoot of X. Gets a 7.0 on IMDB out of 96k ratings that really high for a horror movie.
pearl is definitely a step above x, i would definitely give it a watch. she is also a stellar voice actor, voicing mabel in the horror film "The House" (2022)

FX had it on 2 times in a row. I realized I still only have my VHS copy. So I ordered the Blue ray so I could see all the gore they cut short. Watching on TV with commercials was killing the build up of the movie.

She's pretty good. Anyway, I prefer Sarah Paulson, Anya Taylor Joy and Jenna Ortega... I'm not saying they act better I just like them more 🙂

I wouldn't dream of trying. I couldn't finish Hereditary because her performance made me feel WAY more anguish than I wanted to. She is incredible.

She was incredibly in us…. I would still say I think Toni is better in Hereditary. Though it may just be the strength of the writing. In Us even watching the out takes of her just maintaining her character a wrongfully tethered person was so impressive.
She scared the shit out of me in The Night Listener. Just so unsettling.

She’s only been in one horror, The Sixth Sense, Hereditary is not horror. It’s a psychological family drama.
I have no idea how you can make the case that The Sixth Sense is horror but Hereditary—a movie that features a cult, possession, beheading, reanimated corpses, suicide by piano wire, etc—to not be horror.

I love love Toni Collette. She's my favourite actress ever. I watched Muriel's wedding a million times when I was younger, then I watched her in sixth sense. I think she's an amazing actress and seems like such a nice person too
