Exclusive: Dani and Wes reveal their future plans and why it was sad to say 'goodbye' on My Mum Your Dad 2023
Dani and Wes said yes to "new beginnings" following the My Mum Your Dad 2023 Blessing Ceremony.
They decided to start a romance in the outside world, supported by their respective sons Brandon and Jake who have been guiding their relationship.

One day after the Blessing Ceremony took place, Wes and Dani sat down with 9Entertainment to chat about their instant connection and love-filled future ahead.

"Since we've left the Retreat, we have caught up with each other," revealed Dani.
Their relationship was like no other, a spark that ignited the moment Dani laid eyes on Wes.
"Wes came in very late in the picture," recalled Dani. "There was definitely a physical attraction from both sides."
In fact their physical attraction, more so than an emotional connection, was one of the biggest concerns for Dani's son Brandon heading into the Blessing Ceremony.

Bu, love prevailed, and both Dani and Wes were given their blessing to continue their relationship.
"We've been texting and calling each other so we were both really sad to say goodbye," said Dani about leaving the experience.

With Dani based in Victoria and Wes in NSW, it seems a long-distance relationship will have to be on the cards for the couple.
But it won't be long until the love birds will be reunited.
"Wes and I have already made plans for the near future," Dani continued.
"There a couple of events that we plan on going to each other's states for and we're talking about a trip to Bali," she revealed.
The feelings were certainly mutual for Wes.

"I just want to be around her all the time," said Wes.
