Overrated convoluted time wasting nonsense. This series should be examined in film school on what not to do in filmmaking. The premise was interesting and the series set the stage and followed through fairly well, but then all the plot holes, convoluted and unnecessary subplots, the useless, pointless and annoying filler started to become more and more evident each season. Then the last season was an entire waste of time. Only one episode was needed to conclude what the viewers were lead to believe, but instead, we got a total of 13 episodes of utter nonsense, most being 100% filler and a waste of time. It baffles me all these fanboys with their perfect score and praise for a writer that clearly needs to go to film school. I can't say I've ever wasted so much time on any series that left me so unsatisfied and disappointed to the point of anger, and I've seen a lot of trash series. I thought Succession was a waste of time and effort... this one takes the cake. Don't waste your time like all the other intelligent people have. Aside from outstanding performances, score and cinematography, there's really nothing redeeming or any other reason to waste so much time viewing this ridiculous and useless series. It's a very generous 5/10 only for the outstanding performances, score and cinematography.

Every season, certain tricky parts could be predicted, but then the long game overall surprises in the juiciest ways. Just when one thinks this fiction's leaping well into the utterly unbelievable, the plot returns in the most twisted way to totally plausible. Loved this creation through and through. Rami Malek and his costars acting on a script written and directed into a spool of the finest gold that is this entire series. Sigh, so sad it's over.

"Mr. Robot" is not just a television series; it's a labyrinth of intrigue, a symphony of deception, and a masterpiece of modern storytelling. From its inception, the show captivates audiences with its enigmatic protagonist, Elliot Alderson, portrayed with haunting depth by Rami Malek. As Elliot, Malek brings to life a character teetering on the edge of brilliance and madness, his every move a calculated dance between genius and chaos.
The brilliance of "Mr. Robot" lies not only in its complex characters but also in its narrative structure. Creator Sam Esmail crafts a tale that is as much a psychological thriller as it is a commentary on the perils of technology and the erosion of privacy in the digital age. The show's nonlinear storytelling keeps viewers on the edge of their seats, as they navigate the blurred lines between reality and illusion, truth and deception.
At its core, "Mr. Robot" is a story about power: who holds it, who wields it, and who is ultimately at its mercy. Through Elliot's eyes, we are thrust into a world of corporate greed, government surveillance, and underground revolution. Each episode unfolds like a meticulously crafted puzzle, revealing layer upon layer of conspiracy and deceit.
But what truly elevates "Mr. Robot" to the realm of greatness is its fearless exploration of the human condition. Beneath the hacking and the heists lies a deeply emotional story about loneliness, alienation, and the search for meaning in a world gone mad. Malek's performance is nothing short of mesmerizing, his haunted eyes betraying a soul tormented by demons both real and imagined.
In the end, "Mr. Robot" is more than just a TV show; it's a work of art. Its bold storytelling, unforgettable characters, and thought-provoking themes linger in the mind long after the credits roll. For those willing to delve into its depths, "Mr. Robot" is nothing short of a masterpiece.

Series finale. From the absolute unique way each scene was shot to the subtle and overt homages to the director's inspirations, this whole series has been an absolute treat. One of the main reasons I love cinema so much is on full display in this show. How some directors are able to create motivation and meaning by simply constructing a shot a certain way leaps off the screen and invites the viewer to take in multiple viewings just truly appreciate what is being said. While the subject material might not be for everyone and not everyone will pick up on the subtle nuances conveyed in the show, one thing is for sure, this series will be studied for decades. Seriously, If you haven't given this series a try, I highly recommend it, especially if you appreciate good direction.
