Moussa Djenepo doubled Southampton's lead in their Carabao Cup quarter-final against Manchester City with a finish out of the very top draw.
Nathan Jones' side, who came into Wednesday's cup tie as huge underdogs, took a surprise lead through Sekou Mara with 23 minutes on the clock.
And five minutes later, the capacity crowd inside St Mary's erupted when Djenepo gave the home side a two-goal cushion after spotting Stefan Ortega off his line.

The goal – his first since March 2021 – was described as "outrageous" by the Sky Sports commentator and well, it's hard to disagree. You can check out that wonderful chip below.

Pep Guardiola decided against starting Kevin De Bruyne, Erling Haaland and Riyad Mahrez on Wednesday night, with Cole Palmer, Kalvin Phillips and Jack Grealish getting the nod instead.
Ahead of kick-off, Guardiola called for his team to ‘impose their game’ in the quarter-final clash.

“I know they are in a difficult position," he said. "A new manager [Nathan Jones]. We knew perfectly, with the previous one, with Ralph [Hasenhuttl] how we struggle every season.
“Now we saw a little bit that they changed some movements, some patterns, that is normal because every manager has his own style.
“You have to adapt to what they do and try to impose our game and win the game, of course."
The Citizens come up against Manchester United on Saturday in what is expected to be a fascinating contest at Old Trafford.

Guardiola, meanwhile, says he has conjured a “ridiculous” plan to beat United in the upcoming derby.
