We went for a birthday dinner and it really was a fantastic experience. I am gluten free Ave dairy free and not only are there plenty of options, but the waiter was knowledgeable about what could be easily modified and what could not. The entire hotel was sparkling clean and it only started to get noisy the second half of the meal (around 7:00 on Sunday). Everything tasted phenomenal (I’m actually a chef and pastry chef) and I honestly was prepared to spend twice what I did. The market price for certain items was very reasonable. 10/10; I will be coming back!

My fiance and I traveled from Glens Falls specifically to come to this restaurant. This is the best restaurant I've been to in a long time. The food is outstanding, the service is great, and the atmosphere and Decor is lovely.

Truly outstanding dining experience. Our waiter was lovely, the cocktail variety was eclectic and well done. I highly recommend the Beechwood cocktail it had lovely floral notes. We enjoyed the cornbread and crab appetizer. Our entrees were superb. The carrot cake was amazing, plan on sharing!

We ordered the daily specials and they were outstanding. Wonderful atmosphere. The service was slow to the point where I had to ask about our appetizers and the server seemed annoyed. They had live music, so it was a bit loud, but expected. There is a general priciness in the area and they did not disappoint $$$.

Our server was excellent. He was very helpful when picking out meals and wines. We had a group of six and two in the group stated their meals were okay, but the rest of could not stop raving about our food. When we were finished with our dinner and desserts we did not feel rushed to leave. I would recommend Morrissey’s restaurant to anyone. Thank you for a wonderful evening.

Did not like being put in back room. Prefer the bar area and they did not advise as to seating. $20 for a glass of wine that sells for $14 a bottle is a little much. Back room was my biggest letdown. Probably will not go again.

We joined dear friends for brunch, and we enjoyed the experience very much. So many options on the menu! Each person chose a different dish, and we loved each one. Our server was prompt, welcoming, and funny, without hovering.

Considering that is the day of Chowderfest, the clientele noise level was out of control and annoying. Unfortunately, we had a group next to our table that consisted originally of 3 “typical plastic “ females constantly on their phones either talking or taking pictures. However they all chose to sit on the same side of the table and then 4 more friends decided to meet/join them, making the space even more crowded. It made an otherwise okay night out, pretty loud and annoying.

Our meals were very delicious and ample portions. Drinks are very good without being overly strong. Correct pours from the bar. The noise levels were incredibly loud. It is a lounge/bar though. We had a hard time carrying on a conversation at our table. Despite the noise we will be back because of the food.

Always a great dinner. Lovely place for a date. Food is consistently cooked well, without much flaw. Most importantly, servers, runners, bussing staff, and the bar staff work very hard and it shows. Everyone on their team are trained professionals. MISS THE POPOVERS!

From the soup to the Burger and then the sushi, it was tremendous. presentation. staff and ambiance warm and inviting. Food perfectly delicious. The house bloody Mary worth the trip alone. Really good time. We went for Sunday brunch.

Every dish we ordered from appetizers to entrees came out lukewarm warm at best. Hipster fries were cold and stale. Shrimp and scallops (scallops had to be substituted with halibut) was ice cold. The best part of the meal was the birthday cake we brought ourselves. Will not be going back.

Overall a nice experience, however beware the cornbread on the brunch menu is breaded and fried, which I was not expecting (and would not have ordered it had I know). It was far too greasy for me. The stuffed artichokes and smoked salmon avocado toast were good.

It was difficult choosing what I wanted to eat because their menu is amazing! I decided to have the sushi, which was the most delicious sushi I’ve ever had! The waiter was very patient because it was not easy deciding what to have. Definitely a favorite Saratoga Springs restaurant!

Very good food and service. Hipster fries are great for a shared side. Omelet was delicious. The back room is a little cut off and feels very secondary. Front room is a much nicer atmosphere.

Do not overlook the corn agnolotti! It is amazing. (The burger and Caesar salad are also excellent.) A lovely dining environment overall, particularly out front in the bar area where the decor is well thought-out. If you don't like horse paintings from TJ Maxx, the back dining area may not be for you. Nice lighting levels throughout.

This review is from New Year’s Eve. This was our first dining experience here. We walked straight into a wedding reception/ cocktail hour. Incredibly crowded and loud . We were seated in a small dining room in the back of the restaurant. That room was incredibly loud because people were talking loudly to complete with the wedding guests. Not a pleasant atmosphere at all. I’m expecting noise from the holiday but this was crazy! Our server was very nice. The food was outstanding. I will come back for another try here because of the food. Hopefully we can sit in the actual restaurant instead of the small room. The menus were crumpled and are in need of replacement. Despite this dining experience we will try again.

Morrisey's is an ok place for a plain, non-fussy brunch. The portions are small (only 1 egg in my shakshuka, surrounded by a sea of sauce) and the salad portions are on the small side as well. The service is very friendly, as was the atmosphere. Apparently, the best thing on the menu is the clothesline bacon. I am a vegetarian (so can't speak to that) but my husband says it was decent. As far as taste and flavor go -- it's not bad, but nothing special. If you are a foodie, don't expect Morrisey's to break new ground. All in all, it's your average brunch spot.
