Montreat College Reviews
Rating 3.48 out of 5 299 reviews
I am a Freshman at Montreat College from out of state, I am pursuing an Elementary Education degree. I love Montreat College because of the professors, they really care about you! It is a small school compared to most which helps for creating a community feeling. There is a lot of diversity, you can definitely find people you relate to and new people to try things with as well! It's in a mountain town with lots of hiking and outdoor activities which I love.
Montreat is a private, conservative Christian college. It has a small, safe campus, which is a plus. It's definitely not a party school. There are no fraternities or sororities. As an alum, who has taken a class there many years later, it's disappointing that their registration process is STILL offline. You can download a copy of the course catalog, but that doesn't include information regarding the when, where, or who for individual classes.
Since Montreat College is a small Christian college, they have really good community. The professors, fellow students, and all faculties are very friendly. Montreat College has a wonderful welcoming atmosphere, which makes easier to adjust well and make life-long friends. There are many hike trails with beautiful sceneries.
