We visited this museum on the last day of our trip, as it was raining and there wasn’t much else to do. Unfortunately, everyone had the same idea as us, and the place was packed, which meant waiting to see some of the exhibits, and avoiding feral children running around.
However, the aquarium itself was large, with a variety of animals including an octopus and a turtle which you don’t always see. I don’t know about the ethical aspect of keeping such animals in tanks, as other reviewers have mentioned, so I will have to do some more research.

The actual museum part was beautifully done, with classic decor in keeping with the old building, with the actual exhibits and art integrated seamlessly. The exhibits were engaging, with plenty of information and different styles, e.g. a big boat you could go in, holograms, an immersive arctic experience, etc. This part of the museum was also quieter than the aquarium.

Main thing we didn’t like about the museum was the cafe, which was on the roof, and required us walking along the slippy rooftop in the rain to get to. Cafe was dated and they didn’t serve a huge variety of food so we just ordered coffee, which arrived lukewarm.

Other than that, it was a good day out.

Great museum, some interesting exhibits and only €10 - you can also buy bundle tickets with other attractions in Monaco. Only probably takes about half an hour or so to visit

Although we didn't go inside due to the dress code, it is a beautiful and iconic building. There are usually some impressive cars outside including a classic old racing car

Busy but beautiful and vibrant square in front of the casino. It has a nice atmosphere. There is a nice garden behind it too which is nice to sit in the sun. There are usually some spectacular cars in front of the casino

Some of the best views of the harbour are from either Monte Carlo side or Place du Palais square. During April while we were there, they were building a lot of the Grand Prix stands so it took quite a long time to get across the harbour

Fabulous building. If you go to Place du Palais, you can get very close to the palace building. It is set in a beautiful square. The changing of guard also occurs at 11.55am each day, but get there early to get a good space as it is crowded. Watch for the guards putting the chains up and you'll know where to stand to get a good view

The cathedral was built in 1875 on the site of an old St. Nicholas church, in the Romano-Byzantine style. It is a monumental building, richly decorated inside, as we can see in the photos accompanying this review.
I noticed the great organs of the church.
Here, the princes and princesses of Monaco sleep their eternal sleep, the last ones being Princess Grace Kelly of Monaco and Rainier III of Monaco.

Compact but Beautifully landscaped and well maintained. There are several seating areas to stop and admire. Unfortunately there is a lot of building work happening right next door at the moment which messes with the ambience but we’ll worth a visit.

Fantastic area with spectacular views of Port de Fontvielle and Port Hercule. It's quite a walk up the ramped stairs but well worth it. Also views of the beautiful palace and the Cathedrale Notre-Dame-Immaculee can also be reached from here

Princess Grace rose garden was founded by Prince Rainier III in memory of his deceased wife - Princess Grace Kelly of Monaco. Besides the layers of roses and many other flowers, here we can see trees and other exotic plants, which form a real botanical garden.
I also noticed statues of Princess Grace and Prince Albert I.
A magnificent panorama of the sea opens from the park.

Sadly, the gardens were under reconstruction when we visited. There was a small area of cacti and other succulents that were available for us to visit. It was quite an impressive collection and I can only imagine the garden at its best.

Absolutely stunning architectural landmark, classical Monaco at its best. Makes a great sightseeing spot on a tour around the old city.
