      Koi P Humorous in its own right. I found it to be an enjoyable and entertaining film. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 04/19/24 Full Review Mark B It is not Katie Holmes fault she is very good with what she is given. It is not funny, but the character is written as if it should be. It try's to go to dark places and it would have been better if it did. It try's to end as a thriller but just falls flat. Trying to end with a wink and that just does not make sense. The 1st act is all set up and you think it is really going to pay off, it does not and settles into more set up. Pick a lane and this could have been much better. And Katie Holmes does an excellent job of portraying the conflicting emotions that drive her character, Miss Meadows. She is at once caring and thoughtful, but also ruthlessly dedicated to pursuing justice. One want to know what made her this way? What sort of trauma creates a vigilante? She's like Charles Bronson in Death Wish, but easier on the eyes and wearing tap shoes. I found her a very endearing character, a sympathetic character.
