In the season two clip from 2004, Melinda asks Marissa what is wrong, with the troubled teen responding by shrieking and throwing furniture into the pool.

Mischa's pal captioned the clip 'How I feel about 2020' with The Sixth Sense star reposting the clip with the line: 'Hahaha... too accurate.'

Mischa was one of the four protagonists in the drama alongside Adam Brody, Benjamin McKenzie and Rachel Bilson when it first aired in 2003.

But Marissa met a tragic end when she died in a car crash in season three.

Mischa seems to have found love again after more than a year since the end of her relationship with Australian model James Abercrombie.

She has been spotted spending time with her new flame Gian Marco Flamini during the Covid-19 pandemic.

The Love Unplugged star was first spotted with Gian, who is also an actor, earlier this year, and they appear to have quickly become inseparable.

The couple have been seen hanging on the east side of Los Angeles, sharing public kisses and heading out for coffee.

Earlier this week, she shared snaps on her Instagram from a fun-filled outing with her beau, which included 'road trippin' and lounging by the pool at the Chateau Marmont.

In her laid-back snaps, she was surrounded by friends on a boat and her new man, who can be seen kissing her neck in one adorable black and white selfie.

'P.s. everyone was Covid tested & was negative!!' she penned in the comment section of her post, which saw her hanging out with at least six pals.

She split from former love James, the son of Australian multi-millionaire, in August 2019 after two years together.

Mischa's most recent big screen role was in the dark comedy Spree as a passenger for a ride share driver, who was played by Stranger Things star Joe Keery.

The movie, originally shown at Sundance, was released on video on demand last month also features Franke Grande, Lala Kent and David Arquette.

Last year, the former child actress who appeared in The Sixth Sense and Notting Hill, came back into the spotlight as part of MTV's reboot The Hills: New Beginnings.

But in March it was confirmed that she would not be returning for the second season of the hit MTV reality programme.

The show had brought Mischa, who has been doing less acting recently, on as its newest cast addition for the first season of the show last year.

The O.C. is available to stream on Stan in Australia
