Phil Hoad Guardian Building in power and finesse, Danner oversees a very satisfying dialectical dustup. Rated: 4/5 Dec 26, 2023 Full Review Leonard Maltin leonardmaltin.com ’Miranda’s Victim’ is an important story that is as unpretentious as it is effective. Oct 20, 2023 Full Review Donald Liebenson RogerEbert.com The distinguished cast (Andy Garcia as Miranda’s initial lawyer and Donald Sutherland as a compassionate judge) is uniformly excellent. Oct 10, 2023 Full Review Sandie Angulo Chen Common Sense Media The movie is a feminist reclaiming of the name best known for a suspect's constitutional rights. It successfully forces viewers to think about Weir's brave, heroic actions, even as they lead to more trauma for her. Apr 17, 2024 Full Review John Serba Decider Miranda’s Victim is an engrossing watch, and a quietly vital one. Don’t overlook it. Jan 17, 2024 Full Review Anne Brodie What She Said the most famous rape case in American jurisprudence, of 18-year-old Patricia Weir but she couldn’t say the word penis, which dragged the proceedings out for years. T R This is a total disgrace, not a movie. If at least 10% shown here was real - facepalm is my only reaction. Made by cucks, for cucks, and about cucks. And also, the US judicial system is totally f***ed if a man can be put in prison with the "evidence" presented at the Supreme Court. Forced confession, no genetic material, and the cherry on top - ex-wife's testimony who previously lied to social service and forged signatures. Brilliant! So any man can be pointed at - he was around, he has the "instrument"... Hooraah, a rapist is found! Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 04/21/24 Full Review Kathy V Very interesting movie. Top notch actors. She was a very brave girl. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 04/05/24 Full Review Michael W This courtroom movie was really good. Abigail Breslin, Sebastian Quinn, Emily VanCamp, Mireille Enos, Luke Wilson, Ryan Philippe, Enrique Murciano, Donald Sutherland, Andy Garcia, and the rest of the cast did a fantastic job in this movie. This true story about the case that started the Miranda rights was dramatic, tense, and traumatic. It's about a case that made history and set in motion the way the justice system works today. If you haven't seen this movie yet, check it out sometime. It's a must see. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 03/03/24 Full Review Maria G Excellent! And heartbreaking to see how victims were and are still treated. Excellent acting by everyone. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/25/24 Full Review Avindu G A beautiful tale of salvation and cultural evolution. A young lady's journey through a course of absurd unjustnesses to get the justice done for an obvious heinous crime. The revelation on the backwardness of toxic masculinity is sharply criticized also knocking off any remnants at present. Thought provoking crusade marking a mile stone of law and policing of a country. And the flawless performance by Abigail Breslin was a bonus and the rest of the cast were also putting up sincere performances. Great visuals capturing both emotions and changing imes. Great music saves the story from any dullness. Miranda's victim is a iconic docudrama that's uniquely interesting. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/26/24 Full Review Betty F Movie was amazing and very educating. Cast was awesome and could really relate to the era being I grew up in the 60s! I would definitely recommend this movie! Very well written and casted! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/24/24 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
