MINSK, Feb. 27 (Xinhua) -- Belarus reported 1,459 new COVID-19 cases on Saturday, taking its total to 285,959, according to the country's health ministry.
There were 1,491 more recoveries in the past 24 hours, bringing the total to 276,234, the ministry added.
So far, 1,966 people have died of the disease in the country, including nine over the past 24 hours, it said.
As of Saturday, 4,879,018 tests for the virus have been conducted across the country, including 17,780 over the past 24 hours, according to official statistics. Enditem
