She is the proud mother of nine-year-old son Henry.

And on Tuesday Oscar-nominated actress Minnie Driver of Good Will Hunting fame enjoyed a day at the beach in Los Angeles with her little one.

The 48-year-old Will & Grace star was also accompanied by her blonde sister Kate as well as a male friend.

Minnie modeled a peekaboo one-piece swimsuit that offered a glimpse of her impressively svelte midriff as she gamboled about the water.

She wore her dark hair down and seemed unafraid to get it soaked.

Henry's father is Timothy J Lea, a producer who had worked on Minnie's short-lived show The Riches co-starring Eddie Izzard.

The actress has been in a relationship for some time with art writer Neville Wakefield, and told Ellen DeGeneres last year: 'I've known him since I was 17, 18?'

Minnie explained: 'He was a really good friend of my boyfriend, and he and I became really good friends, and they didn't - it didn't work out, and then he married somebody else, and we had this whole life in between.'

During her March 2017 appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Minnie confided that little Henry 'was a very unattractive baby.'

Ellen said she had been 'a very unattractive baby' as well. 'I was extremely fat and didn't have hair for two years,' she shared with her guest.

She said of Henry: 'He didn't have hair for two years, and then he got a crazy amazing blond Afro, which is incredible, beautiful.'

A year after her baby was born, she waxed rhapsodic to Cinema Blend about 'the love. The unquantifiable love. It just takes my breath away.'
