Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What travellers are saying
- TypozalotMilton Keynes, UK480 contributionsGreat day out learning lots of history. The final enigma machine is not there as in the museum of computing but there is lots of other historical stuff there.
The grounds are well maintained and it’s easy to get around and see all the exhibits. The house is stunning especially when it is sunny like it was when we were there.
Good signage throughout to help you move around.
Are Ate at the cafe near the house and had a lovely fish and chips for a decent price.
We stayed 5 hours but you could spend the whole day there.
Parking on site is limited but we arrived after 10.30 and there was space.
They have a reduced rate for people
Living within a ten mile radius which was nice. And the ticket once purchased lasts for a year! We also brought on line which was discounted.Written 12 May 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. We couldn’t fault the day in any way. Cost was very reasonable considering the time spent on the slopes, (and it also included lunch). We had a lovely ski coach; Celine Ray who was patient, funny and spent a lot of group and 1:1 time with us, to get us all coming down the slope with some degree of ability/safety by the end of the day! Other coaches were also helpful as would assist in picking you up, giving pointers and helping out at times as needed throughout the day. We had quite a range of ability across the group, and Celine managed to support us all to get the best from our varying ability. Maybe due to being a mid-week/Spring booking the slopes were quieter than usual, but this enabled other coaches to help out when needed. Overall it was a great facility with great coaching and an emphasis on having a good time. All 6 of us came away with very positive comments and said we had really enjoyed our introduction to skiing. Thank you Celine and Snozone (and any other coaches who picked me up and helped me out!) We will definitely be back.Written 13 May 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Lucie SAmpthill, UK8 contributionsMy daughter had a party at Big Rock with 5 friends. They thoroughly enjoyed it and had a lovely instructor, Danni. The adults were able to watch in the viewing area and because it was early it was nice and quiet. Highly recommend!Written 12 May 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- ShropshireOldfartShropshire287 contributionsA great museum run by dedicated volunteers. The explanations were detailed and very informative. The replicas of the WWII machines were great, all in working order which is amazing considering the age of the technology. You forget how far computing has come in 30 years, the 1970's computers are incredibly basic. A great day out.Written 12 May 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Denise SWanborough, UK3 contributionsWent to see Aladdin. OMG fantastic. I have no words to describe the scenery fantastic. The theatre itself is like others I've been too, just could do with more toilets! Drinks and items are way over priced. A 'medium' measure of rose wine and a bottle of 7 up, 13 quid! The wine would be classed as small in a pub. £11 for 2 popcorn on top of £80 each tickets!Written 29 April 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - peter rLondon, UK6 contributionsIt would be great if the rides were open. Just lots and lots of orange builders fencing and tape. All of the cowboy / wild west area huts closed off. Disappointed.Written 12 May 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- Cuthburt DMelton Mowbray, UK2 contributionsDid a morning session got parking that way plus it's less busy. Staff at the Parc and the restaurant next door were ace, shows that the next generation are not as bad as they are made out to be; great service and would go again. Car park is a ball ache, download the ring park app but like all parking in the UK it's always a ball ache to pay for parking. Always stressful nowadays. Do not count on a blue badge to make it any less stressful!

Parking was a breeze with the help of the staff and their torches. Quite busy but found somewhere to sit with another couple and had a good chat and laugh. We had gone to see Janey Godley so we had the same sense of humour . Definitely will return.Written 10 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
