What travelers are saying
- Julie Ann K7 contributionsEvery room has a theme and a different way to play. My children really enjoyed the hands on aspect. We spent a lot of time in the Italian themed room feeding handkerchiefs into the fountain and watching them float.Written April 23, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - yalibrarianSan Antonio, TX355 contributionsI was driving from Hartford to Mystic and decided to make this easy stop near Hartford. Convenient free parking in a 15+ car lot with a very short walk (maybe 50 yards) to the falls. If you go left from the lot, there's a low decline/incline path on hard-pack dirt; to the right there is a quicker route, but with fairly steep stairs. Waterfall is approximately 25 feet across, maybe 20 feet high. Nothing spectacular, but picturesque, and the river and foliage make for some nice photos.Written November 9, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Bill ATampa, FL358 contributionsGot hooked up with a walking tour through the Info Desk. Takes maybe an hour. Beautiful campus - well kept grounds - peaceful. Stopped into the bookstore and bought some trinkets to take home.Written July 13, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - MaureenMiddlefield, CT71 contributionsWe loved this place! We tried several different brews and enjoyed all of them. The chocolate tout was my favorite. They advertise dog friendly and you can bring in your own food. The staff is fun and friendly and we saw a wonderful comedy show there too- go check it out!Written April 2, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Mary Jane WMiddle Haddam, CT34 contributionsLast summer I attended Art Farm's production of Midsummer Night's Dream @ Middlesex Community College as part of Shakespeare in the Grove. The production was so impressive that had it not been the last night, we would have attended again. Tickets are inexpensive and the setting is lovely. We brought a picnic and it was one of the highlights of the summer. I look forward to going again this year. If you're in the area, don't miss it!Written January 5, 2016This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- Jani STampa, FL105 contributionsI stopped by the museum on a Tuesday afternoon. (You have to ring the door bell) I enjoyed my visit and tour. The museum explains the shipping and commercial history of Middletown, which included rum, sugar, slaves, horses, pewter, and porcelainWritten April 7, 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Tena28Hope Valley, RI662 contributionsThis is a small brewery that has a nice selection of beer. We enjoyed their sours and IPAs. The bartender was super friendly! They also serve some food like pretzels, pizza, cookies and chips. They also have games. We really enjoyed island time and sweet Mary sour ale!Written October 8, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Sarah TOakland, CA126 contributionsYou are in a small town, but there is a big telescope on a beautiful, safe campus. - David P4 contributionsExcellent hole in the wall place that sells on site crafted mead. Very interesting take on meade as they have some wonderful flavors but not stupidly over fermented high abv mead that is the norm elsewhere. Very impressed and very interested in going again the next time I am in town to see what else they have come up with.Written June 12, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
