My experience at MidAmerica Nazarene University has been amazing, I have gained friendships that will last me a lifetime, I have professors and coaches who are like my second parents to me, and most importantly since attending this university, I have formed a relationship with Jesus. Because of my friends, coaches, and professors at MNU, I learned who Jesus truly is and that he wants a relationship with me, and I accepted that. I am now a completely different person, I see this world through Christ's eyes, and I have constant peace in my life that makes no sense. This university is a community full of students and faculty who care about each other and want the best for each other.
MNU is a great place to grow in your faith while learning about something you love. This is a small school where you will find life long friends and professors who want nothing but you to succeed.
Overall, I have liked my stay at MNU. I am pleased with the classes that I am taking there. The professors are clearly passionate about the subjects they teach, and they put much effort into making the classes both educational and enjoyable. I find the curriculum to be challenging but not overwhelming. I still find time to relax and hangout with friends. The community of MNU is fairly tightknit - a friend of a friend is all you need to connect with the rest of the student body. However, I do have one critique. The cafeteria food is a hit or miss some days. Baked items, such as the pizza, scones, or desserts, tend to be undercooked and are still doughy in the middle. Thankfully, the wide variety of food options in the cafe means that there is at least something really good somewhere. And, of course, the Spicy Chicken Thursdays are always a hit!
