I had no idea that a lady NOT from Texas (and I LOVE my lady friends from Texas) could speak forever without actually taking a breath! :D This had me laughing so hard because SJJ's character was soooooooooo serious and apprehensive, AT's character was so disarmingly romantic and sincerely likeable, and her parents actually honestly shared their experiences candidly. Mia Farrow is light as a feather, as usual, with depths I've only seen in women who truly love their family, seemingly, effortlessly being there for whatever is needed. WONDERFUL film! This became a favorite the first time I saw it and watched SJJ spinning over the dance crowd! :D:D:D

This causes her to question the purpose of marriage, and in the end she remains the single girl.

Why on earth Naomi Campbell is in this I have no idea----none at all.So ,on the whole,not very good but look at it like this----a]it is a movie before maybe some of the actors became known as they are today and b]its just a bit of light-hearted 'fun' .I wont recommend BUT wont condemn either.

Written and directed by David Frankel now well know for commercial rom-coms and starring Sarah Jessica Parker, this little known comedy may look like your run of the mill chick flick but I am pleased to report it is anything but. Parker plays a wanna be comedy writer who is about to marry. However, she discovers almost everybody's her life is cheating on their partners. Clearly influenced by the work of Woody Allen (Parker's character is so much like a female Allen it's uncanny), this manages to be very adult without resorting to much strong language yet never taking itself so seriously that you feel it is commenting too much on society as a whole. Fast class performances by a mostly top notch cast Mia Farrow and Antonio Banderas working very well together. The films only real let down is including Naomi Campbell in the cast, not a very talented actress at the best of times but surrounded by such talent they may as well have used a mannequin.
