The College Soccer Prospect ID Showcase is designed for high school soccer players that want to work directly with college coaches. The event is for those players who are focused on becoming college soccer student-athletes or want to learn more about that process. The camp will feature quality instruction from active college coaches, evaluations provided by the coaching staff through the instructional process, and a Discussion on College Athletics for both players and parents. Each segment of camp will consist of player evaluation and skill training on the technical and tactical competencies of the game. The camp is open to all high school soccer players and is limited in enrollment. The player-to-coach ratio will not exceed 8:1. These camps are in compliance with all NCAA rules. All campers and their parents should attend the Discussion on College Athletics when presented in person.

ALL PLAYERS WILL RECEIVE

  • Position specific training and small group instruction.
  • Instruction from all coaches attending the event.
  • Opportunities to ask questions about their skills and get to know the college coaches.
  • One-on-one and small group instruction.
  • An open discussion about the NCAA recruiting process, rules, and regulations (parents are encouraged to either stay or come back for this segment when done on site. Questions are encouraged to help address details about the recruiting process).
  • All players will be numbered so the coaches can identify each player.

ONLINE REGISTRATION IS IMMEDIATE

ENROLLMENT MAY ALSO BE FURTHER LIMITED or EXPANDED BASED ON EACH INDIVIDUAL FACILITY

EVALUATION

Each player will receive verbal feedback from the different levels of college soccer represented at the camp. Coaches will evaluate each player based on their experiences at their level of college soccer and give feedback when appropriate. This will allow each participating soccer player the opportunity to get a much clearer idea of where their skills may fit at the college level. Because we want full interaction between coaches and players, we do not provide written evaluations. We ask our staff to be fully engaged in the teaching and evaluating process and not be lost in a form. For this reason, we highly encourage players to ask questions of the staff and obtain any and all information they would like to know. The evaluation is designed to be informative but not restrictive.

WHY IS IT A CAMP AND A SHOWCASE?

Players want to showcase their skills to coaches, but they should also want to learn from them. Coaches want to evaluate players and their skills, so they can teach them appropriately, just like they do with their own players. Coaches also want to see how players react to new instruction, new techniques and how they socialize with peers and other coaches.

DISCUSSION ON COLLEGE ATHLETICS

This portion of the event will be provided to and is open to all registered participants and parents. It will cover various topics relative to the college experience, NCAA recruiting process and rules along with an open Q and A for parents and players to get information straight from coaches when done in person.

SESSION BREAKDOWN:

Morning or Afternoon Session, $199.
*Both Sessions $299. *This discounted option allows for players wishing to showcase two positions to have additional interaction with the college coaches & be evaluated at a secondary position.*
