Appeared in Mizzou’s win over Southeast Missouri (9/14), his only game of the season.

2018 SEASON
Did not see game action in 2018 after suffering an ACL injury in preseason camp ... Worked hard to rehab the injury during the course of the year, and expects to be back in the mix in 2019 ... Showed during spring camp that he was on his way, as he returned before the end of drills to see action in scrimmaging, and got some snaps during the 2019 Black & Gold Spring Game, where he caught one pass for three yards ... 2018-19 First-Year SEC Academic Honor Roll.

Big-bodied tight end ranks as a three-star recruit by Rivals, which rated him as the No. 6 prospect in the state of New York and the nation’s No. 44 tight end … 247Sports.com rated him as a three-star prospect and the nation’s No. 39 tight end … ESPN rated him as a three-star prospect and the nation’s No. 24 tight end … Caught 34 passes for 508 yards and four scores as a junior … Caught 10 passes for 179 yards during his sophomore season … Also played DE while in high school … Chose Mizzou over offers from Arizona State, Boston College, UConn, UMass, Nebraska, NC State, Rutgers, UCF, Wake Forest and West Virginia, among others … Cited a chance to play in the SEC as a key reason for his commitment … Also loved how Mizzou used its tight ends in its offense and is excited to play in that system.
