Mercyhurst University Reviews
Rating 3.6 out of 5 1,085 reviews
I have met some amazing people and professors here. The anthropology, spanish and art departments have some of the best professors. The tradition of Hurst Day is so fun and something no other school can compare to having, but there isn't much to do on campus, and while Erie has some fun things, most will be a little expensive for college students. Campus is not diverse and as a student of color, had a hard time.
Mercyhurst University is a decent school. The school gives you what you need as a student. As of recently we became a D1 school adding to our athletics. I like how the campus is a community and is easy to navigate. Professors are all very kind people and want the best for their students. Overall, it is a fairly good school providing students with enough criteria to succeed.
At first I thought I wouldn’t like it since it is a new environment, but with the completion of meeting new friends and having amazing professors it changed my point of view. Now I don’t know about anyone else, but their education program is really insightful and understanding as they pace you each year! For me that’s great because it gives me a chance to join clubs, socialize, and look into other majors and minors.
