Overnight storms have mostly cleared and we’re expecting sunshine, warmth and high humidity with temps reaching the 80s Monday. An isolated afternoon thunderstorm can’t be ruled out but we should be mostly dry Monday.
Severe weather is possible on Tuesday, but there’s still questions about whether storms will be able to form over the mid south. If they do, severe hail, severe winds and even a few tornadoes will be possible.
Wednesday looks concerning. Wednesday evening/night will feature the best chance of severe weather we’ve seen all spring. Details are coming into focus, but a robust severe weather environment will likely yield damaging winds, hail and a few tornadoes. Some of the worst severe weather may be after dark on Wednesday so make sure you can get alerts and are paying attention to the weather.
