Here are the number of COVID-19 cases across the Mid-South

This is a look at where Shelby County, as well as Tennessee, Mississippi, and Arkansas, currently stand for COVID-19 cases.

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — The Shelby County Health Department reported 105 new cases over a 7-day period as of April 21, 2024. That makes a total of 325,324 cases and 3,819 deaths in the county since the beginning of the pandemic to now.

COVID-19 vaccinations and flu vaccinations are available at retail pharmacies and other health care providers throughout Shelby County. Vaccination providers are listed on the CDC’s Vaccines.gov website.

Tennessee

The state of Tennessee reports, as of the week ending April 20, 2024, a total of 2,733,835 cases and 30,780 deaths in the state since the start of the pandemic.

Mississippi

The state of Mississippi is no longer listing COVID-19 cases and deaths for each week. They are providing other data, which can be found HERE

Arkansas

The Arkansas Department of Health said since the beginning of 2024, there have been a total of 1.645 hospitalizations and 171 deaths, according to the latest update, released on April 24, 2024.
