- Stephen PEast Meadow, NY128 contributionsThis is quite an amazing farm. The animals are so well cared for. The giraffe exhibit was the best part. The handler there made us feel so welcome. She gave us carrots to feed the giraffe and was a font of information. The bird sanctuary was also so much fun. After purchasing a stick with bird seed on it- the birds flew on our hands and shoulders to feed. It was such a blast. My wife and I truly enjoyed our visit. A few things- the price is high- over $30 each- and they do not take charge at the gate, only cash. Also they charged to feed the birds. We both felt that should have been free. The only downside is the trail marking - there is none. - Mikey28 contributionsVery friendly & patient with the kids. My 7 year old granddaughter was able to navigate various climbing wall rocks with the assistance of her personal guide who was very encouraging.

It is nature preserve so there are no amenities, tables, etc. But, it is a great place to get away from people and get in to nature, listen to birds, and get some fresh air. The trails are pretty obvious, you may want to print map before you go or use an app on your phone. (We didn't our first time here and just used our instinct to get us back to where we went. They were on time with a big SUV and the driver got us there safely and comfortably. - James W3 contributionsI tried Long Island Limo after a google search. I flew into NY from Minnesota where Tommy was waiting for me. He was helpful and friendly. He got me to Mineola quick, despite some traffic in the city. I will be using Long Island Limo again.
