I think this is the album that the Dixie Flyers were first assembled for. It's a solid soul sender and I found it for 2 bucks in good condition at an actual record store that had no idea.
Lulu finds her soul/R&B mojo backed by the cream of southern sessionaires (Dixie Flyers, Memphis Horns, et al) & produced by Atlantic's top renowned honchos (Arif Mardin, Jerry Wexler, Tom Dowd).
Her best recording with quality songs & funky rhythms.
