Melanie Lynskey, a New Zealand actress, is currently single. She was previously married to Jimmi Simpson, an American actor, and producer. She is the daughter of a former nurse and an orthopedic surgeon father. Melanie attended New Plymouth Girls High School and then studied English Literature and theater at the Victoria University of Wellington. She made her function film debut along with Peter Jackson’s "Incredible Creatures" in the role of Pauline Parker at the age of sixteen.
