Inter Milan are aiming to bring in around €60-70 million from sales this summer in order to fund three major signings.
Today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, via FCInterNews, report that the Nerazzurri are keen on Albert Gudmundsson, Alessandro Buongiorno, and Bento.
This summer, Inter might not be quite as busy as the last one. That transfer window saw a dozen players going in either direction from the Nerazzurri’s squad.
But there will be plenty of work for the club to do.
Simone Inzaghi has asked the Nerazzurri directors to bolster the squad all over the pitch for what promises to be a more taxing season than ever in terms of the fixture list.
Inter will already be signing Mehdi Taremi and Piotr Zielinski on free transfers.
But the club are still eyeing up three areas of the squad to strengthen.
These are in attack, in the centre of defense, and in goal.
Inter have three priority targets for these positions – Gudmundsson, Buongiorno, and Bento respectively.
But if it is not these three, Inter will still aim for players with a significant price tag.
Inter Target €60-70M In Sales To Fund Signings This Summer
Tuttosport report that Inter expect that they’ll need a total of €60-70 million in cash to sign the players they want this summer.
And like last summer, that money will have to come from sales.
The Nerazzurri are aiming to avoid a big name departure. However, Tuttosport report, an €80 million offer for Marcus Thuram, Alessandro Bastoni, or Nicolo Barella could cause the club to reconsider.
More likely, however, would be a departure of Denzel Dumfries.
The Nerazzurri value the Dutchman at around €30 million.
Then, Inter are keen to offload some fringe players currently out on loan.
They could bring in transfer fees for the likes of Joaquin Correa, Lucien Agoume, Zinho Vanheusden, Andrei Radu, Gaetanbo Oristanio, Sebastiano and Francesco Pio Esposito, and Mattia Zanotti.
Lastly, Tuttosport anticipate, Inter would also consider offers of around €5 million for striker Marko Arnautovic.
