Matthias Jaissle was born on April 05, 1988 in Nürtingen and is a former German soccer player with stints at VFB Stuttgart and TSG Hoffenheim.
As the current coach, he has been under contract with Al-Ahli in Saudi Arabia since summer 2023. Before that, he was head coach at RB Salzburg for 2 years and won the double there, among other things.

At 33 years and 142 days, Matthias Jaissle was the youngest coach to qualify for the Champions League group stage via playoffs (since 2009/10).
Series champion
In the Austrian Bundesliga, Matthias Jaissle was able to build on RB Salzburg's previous successes, winning the championship again in 2021/22 & 2022/23.
Cup Winner
In addition to a very successful championship season, Matthias Jaissle also won the ÖFB Cup with RB Salzburg in the 2021/22 season, thus securing the double.
