Matt Stokoe (born 13 January 1989; Durham, England) is the English actor who plays James Read in SKY's Jamestown.
He is best known for his roles as Alex in Misfits (2012-2013), Gerard Eyer in The Village (2013-2014), Captain Marcheaux in BBC The Musketeers (2016) and James Read in Jamestown (2017).
Career []
Matt had his debut in television as an extra in The Borgias (2011) and Black Mirror (2011). In the same year, he debuted in cinema with the horror film Hollow as Scott. He made guest and recurring appearances on TV Shows including Last Tango in Halifax (2012) as Michael Dobson, Inspector George Gently (2014) as PC David Baird and Sense 8 (2015) as Jacks. In 2012, he played a leading role in horror film Devil's Pass as Jensen Day. Matt also voices video games, such as Centurian in Ryse: Son of Rome (2013), Final Fantasy XIV: Heavensward (2015) as Elidibus and Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn (2017) as Rasho/Meffrid.
