Elena Rybakina vs Aryna Sabalenka

Rybakina has overcome three Grand Slam champions at the 2023 Australian Open. She beat Iga Swiatek and Jelena Ostapenko prior to the last four.

The Kazakh then defeated double Australian Open champion Victoria Azarenka in the semis, 7-6 (4), 6-3.

The 23-year-old was pleased with her confidence-boosting win ahead of playing for her second grand slam title.

"I already did it once at Wimbledon, and of course I got confident that I can do it again. I did really good preparation with the team," Rybakina said at the post-match press conference after her second Grand Slam semi-final win.

“I'm not really surprised with the results. I'm just hungry to work and improve more."

Sabalenka remains unbeaten as she eyes her first major singles title.

She's excited about the chance of regaining her career high No.2 spot in the world rankings after ending Linette's career-best run.
