Elizabeth Olsen has urged prospective Marvel Studios actors to retain "creative control" by only signing up for one project.
The actress herself is the MCU's Scarlet Witch – essentially the Big Bad of last year's Doctor Strange in the Multiverse after helping the Avengers in prior movies – and will hopefully continue to play her for years to come.
However, when asked by Happy Sad Confused podcast host Josh Horowitz what advice she tends to offer peers interested in joining the Marvel family, Olsen came back with some eye-opening words.

"Just give them one," she said, referring to the multi-movie contracts most of the MCU heavy-hitters take on.
"That way you have more control over... If you, let's say, 'Oh my God, this is the most fun I've ever had and I love this character so much, I want to do it again,' you now have more creative control for the next one."
Olsen then joked: "Don't tell [David] Galluzzi that. [He's] business affairs at Marvel."

This comes after the Love & Death star called for some "humour" to be injected into the characterisation of Scarlet Witch on the big screen.
"We can do anything with her now!" the star suggested back in March.
"I feel like we've done so much. Now, we can really have fun; I feel like there's a lot more humour to be had with her. She's often the emotion of a story, and I'm curious to see what we can explore. And hopefully [we can] give her some redemption."
