Kinds of Kindness, originally titled “And,” underwent development with Element Pictures and Film4 before Searchlight Pictures agreed to distribute it. It is set to premiere at the 77th Cannes Film Festival in May 2024 and will be released theatrically in the United States on June 21, 2024, with subsequent releases in Ireland, the United Kingdom, and Greece. The release date was announced in conjunction with the Cannes Film Festival announcement in December 2023.
