Reviews
- This one could have been great... but it is not. The songwriting and the musicianship are both wonderful. But the production creates a "wall of sound" that nearly hurts. This album should have been produced by somebody else, probably by Brian Eno, who then should have helped to trim it down.
- 6pm includes contributions from Brian Eno, Robert Wyatt, Chrissie Hynde, David Gilmour, Bill MacCormick, Andy Mackay and more. Manzanera feels that this album is unconsciously allied to his first solo album, 1975’s Diamond Head. Yet you could package 6pm and Vozero together as a 2CD set and they would sound like they belong together.
