T1 LoL team and members introduction

T1 (Korean: 티원) is a world class professional esports team from South Korea. Since 2004, the team has gained a big following across various mainstream games with a fame for its winning League of Legends team featuring Zeus, Oner, Faker, Gumayusi, and Keria. With four League of Legends World Championship titles under their belt, the whole team were recently inducted to the 2023 esports Hall of Fame by the Korea esports Association.
T1 Zeus (Top-laner), aka Choi Woo-je, was inspired by SKT’s win to become a pro player during primary school. At the age of 15, he held three elite-level accounts in the game at the highest rank and debuted professionally in 2021. In the 2023 World Championship he was named Finals Most Valuable Player (FMVP).
T1 Oner (Jungler), aka Mun Hyeon-jun, was recommended to join T1 as a trainee in 2020 with his remarkable performance in ranked games. He quickly advanced to the main roster in 2021. Known for his distinctively exceptional playing style, he achieves victory by turning around weaker champions and using them to his advantage.
T1 Faker (Mid-laner), aka Lee Sang-hyeok, is also known as ‘Unkillable Demon King’ and the ‘Michael Jordan of esports’ for his impeccable skills. This legendary gamer has multiple Korean professional league championships and four world championship titles under his belt. Having won over USD1.27 million in prize money, he’s also the first-ever ‘Grand Slam’ in the history of League of Legends. In February 2024, he reached another remarkable milestone — the first player in the League of Legends Champions Korea (LCK) to reach 3,000 kills.
T1 Gumayusi (Bot-laner), aka Lee Min-hyeong, aspired to become a pro gamer during high school. By achieving the highest rank just within one month, he set a Korean record for making 1,000 kills in a single season. He is also one of the few players, including teammate Faker, to accomplish this feat.
T1 Keria (Support), aka Ryu Min-seok, is the first support player in Korean history to receive Player of the Split in the Korean Championship Spring Season. His style? Picking unexpected champions and mastering them with versatility.
