Founded by Mark Hudson, MSA is the only drama school in the United Kingdom that offers the part-time, in-depth training developed over many years by Mark – an approach to acting that is focused, thorough and appropriate.

Inspired by his work with actors in New York, Mark Hudson established an American style acting school in Manchester, where he and his team of outstanding coaches have worked tirelessly to ensure that what is taught is constantly evolving and always at the cutting edge of what is happening in the film, television and theatre industries around the world.

There are no other schools or teachers that MSA is involved with in the UK. Any other school or teacher using our system of teaching is doing so without our permission, knowledge or approval.
