- DaveLlandudno, UK9 contributionsGreat interactive exhibit for kids and a chance to learn science in a fun way.
Unfortunately, quite a lot is undergoing renovation and a number of parts are paying access, prices look great if you’re a local and able to come and go, seem expensive for a one off.Written April 21, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. However, this ticket is valid for one year and can be used repeatedly. This place doesn't seem like a museum, but more like a football-themed interactive center. All kinds of playable things are quite interesting for children. However, a 5-year-old child doesn't really understand the rules and spirit of football very much, so the interactive games are more interesting. Older children or adults who love football more should enjoy it more.Written April 24, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. We could have spent days in the museum, the staff is lovely and super helpful, couldn't recommend it more!Written April 24, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - mayccm2018Hong Kong, China532 contributionsLocated in the heart of Manchester. Free admission. Lots of collections included paintings, sculptures and drawings. Staffs were friendly and knowledgeable about the collections. Different kinds of exhibitions were hosted in art gallery also. It was a great place to spend whole day. I would definitely recommend.Written April 18, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- MaureenSale, UK6 contributionsGreat little museum but I felt some of the exhibits needed bringing up to date in some aspects as it was rather tired. The guides, mainly retired officers, were very knowledgable and willing to chat. I was disappointed with the first room we entered as rather than the dress of a High Sheriff I would have expected the uniform of a Police officer. There was lots of reading to get through which in the end we just skimmed past.
What disappointed me was the lack of information on Policewomen. As a retired Policewoman I would have expected there to be more. There was little or no mention of women in CID or traffic roles.Written April 6, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Very central and easily accessible
Best to book a restaurant if wanting to eat pre event as all of them are extremely busy pre eventWritten April 9, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews. - Martin R4 contributionsCame in during the Eversong choir performance, which was actually my first time witnessing a church service (I’m not Christian) as well as my first time hearing an organ being played. That was a nice experience, though tbh I wouldn’t really recommend for just visiting since there’s nothing to really see inside for tourists. There was also a lot blocked out from viewing. I did like their message of peace during the service and the church members were quite welcomingWritten April 24, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - HughKendal, UK8 contributionsWonderful theatre that I’ve been visiting since it opened in 1976. This visit to see Brief Encounter was great - superb production. Long may they continue to bring new plays along with reimagined classics.Written January 25, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
