- ariEE105 contributionsOne of the most common places while visiting Manali. A temple surrounded by tall pine tress. It's a picturesque place. Authority has maintained its serenity very well. As it's one of the popular tourist spots so it gets easily overcrowded sometimes.
While going to the temple from parking spot, one has to climb 40-50 stairs to go the top but it's not much difficult. Also local market is there surrounding the temple to spend time.
To reach to the shrine i.e. Hidimba Devi , one can find a long queue and the main door is little bit smaller to enter. Overall it's a thrilling experience to witness the temple of mythological character from one our greatest Hindu scripture.Written April 21, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. If you get too close it is one of the most destructive as well.
All the Hotels which have river view entire credit goes to this very same river. Everywhere there is beautiful place and river edges which really pleasing to eyes it is because of Beas River. It is everywhere starting from Solang to Kullu (River countinue to flow after Kullu) I want mentioned that where it goes there is scop of tourism restaurant and so many others things. Hence it is true that Rivers are the life line of any Courtesies.Written September 16, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. However you have to trek about 1 hour from Vashisht Main temple.Written November 2, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. It has two temples situated in the same vicinity right next to each other..
It is situated right next to the main market..
If you are going via your own vehicle, parking space is available some 200-300 metres before the temple.
You have to walk to the temple, an auto facility is also available which drops you right at the footsteps of the temple.
If you want to stay in the vicinity, many logde and guest houses are available.
One can also shop for local stuff in the market leasing up to the temple.Written July 2, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. However ponies are available for those not willing for the longish walk.
The views as you walk up are a feast to the eyes, and every bit worth the effort. It also doubles up as a house museum and a painting gallery. The estate is quite large so you may want to budget at least 2 hours here to really soak in the information and also wind down as some parts offer good view of the valley down below.Written May 19, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Ian LMelbourne, Australia79 contributionsSome do this in 2-3 days but we did it in a day. It is a 9 hr 16km return trek with lots of steep uphills and some walking across rocks (although not as big as at Beas Kund). The lake was OK but the whole experience is unforgettable.Written October 11, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Florent HNorth Sulawesi, Indonesia150 contributionsVery nice site with multiple waterfalls. It is a bit out of the way and when we were there there were only a few locals.
If you are staying a night in Jagna I would definitely recommend to go there.Written October 15, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. It is not simple to do in a day, but it can be done. It is a mixture of uphill climbs, small river crossings and walking across big and small rocks. When you look back from the pond (as this is what it is) you get a magnificent 360 degree view of snow covered mountains.Written October 11, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
