Lynne Harvey Obituary

I'm so sorry for your loss of Angel. I've listened to "Paul Harvey" since I was a kid in the hay field raking hay for my dad. I'm so happy that you and she were happy together...I hope to do the same in my life with the one I love. You've set a great example for us all.

Thanks for going for it. You lived life to the fullest, and made millions of others better in the process. You are an angel, and now you are home and healthy.

Our condolences to your family in this time of grief. We enjoyed meeting Mrs. Harvey when the Chauffer would bring her to the Esplanade each week while in Phoenix for the Winter.

I have been a listener since I was a teengar helping my uncle on his dairy farm during the summers in the late 1950s.

Paul, So sorry to hear about your Mom. please let your Dad know are prayers are with you both. Gary and I remember a lovely dinner at your folks home for your 40th birthday it was great fun and your parents made us feel very much at home. We are sorry we could not attend your Mom's wake Gary's mom passed away the same day and we also have been busy with all the things that are involved. We will be praying for you hope to hear from you soon.

I always loved hearing Paul speak so admiringly of Angel. Little did I know Lynne truly was the power behind the throne. I can visualize Paul at her bedside asking for one more day of her inspiration. And now we know the rest of the story and why we had to tolerate the lackluster readings of the Paul Harvey News during the past weeks. Paul, please don't leave us, too. As much as you love Lynne, she can wait a while longer to see you again.

You could hear the love in Paul's voice when he spoke of his angel.
Now she truly is one...may she rest in peace.

I became a member of the "Paul Harvey Club" in the winter of 1986-87 while living in Aspen, CO. Every morning, Mon-Fri, I had a small radio near my warming hut while operating a ski lift at Snowmass. Often times, ski instructors would gather around the hut and listen in to Paul's broadcast.

I am now a father of 14 and 6 year old daughters. Every morning on our way to school, we listen to Paul Harvey on 850 KOA here in Denver. The last several weeks have brought a lot of questions why Paul wasn't on in the mornings. And unfortunately, yesterday morning (Monday), we found out.

RIP Angel and my thoughts are with you Paul and Paul, Jr.

On behalf of Tamarack Valley Christian Center in Hickory Corners, Michigan we were saddened to hear of Mrs. Harvey's passing. Our Animal Education Center has been used to rehabilitate injured and orphaned animals and to share God's creation to thousands of children over the years thanks to the Lynne Harvey Foundation. Her legacy continues to live on.

As a communication professor I required my college students to listen and analyze a Paul Harvey newscast. My students were overwhelmingly impressed. Mrs. Harvey did an amazing job. Personally, I have been impressed for decades. My prayers are with you, Mr. Harvey and Paul, Jr.
