If you go to the trail around rice lake- it’s a different parking lot- the trails through there are very flat and wide. I saw a few wheel chairs going around parts of rice lake.

You’ve probably been and gone by now. But you can access the bridge from two sides. One walk is about 15 minutes and the other is a couple minutes. As noted the bridge is very wobbly and you need both hands to hold on. The longer walk would be tough on a toddler because of the stairs going done to the water.

Crystal's View Bed & Breakfast would be the closest accommodation to that location that is also cost effective and more central to other hot spots. If you'd like more of a budget, you can check out airbnb for home stays. If you don't mind the higher prices, I'd take the recommendation of staying downtown and transit to the location, so you can stay more central to downtown (if that's your thing). If you prefer nature and wilderness over urban core city, then you're better to stay on the north shore. Message me if you'd like other suggestions.

it's up to you, how far you wanna go dip in woods, could be ten minutes or bring foods and shelter live in there which I don't recommend for the winter time
