She was predeceased by : her parents, Sara McCall Woods Alexander and Roy Woods; her significant other Donald Gerry Lawrence; and her brothers, Freddie, Billy Ray and Leon Woods.

She is survived by : her daughters, Lynn Porter (Mitchell) and Betty Jo Duncan; her siblings, Gary Woods, Ricky Rholetter, Daphne Conn, Gail Massey and Regina Tullis; and her grandchildren, Matthew Duncan, Kaitlyn Chandler (Gabriel), Tiffany Dodson (Waco), Jennifer Alexander (Chris), Carla Buchannon (Stacy) and Cayla Porter. She is also survived by several loving great grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Liberty Mortuary (30 S Palmetto St, Liberty, SC 29657). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
