This was the starting line for our Jesse Owen's Jog, and what a site to see. They have a spectacular display of black history. As you walk through they have displayed in depth sculptures and artifacts of the slave trade and the middle passage. Also, at this particular time, the gallery had Asian History with lovely photos are articles about Asian History. Great learning lessons for our children!

the King Arts District as a whole is on the upswing. Huge local conscientiousness is happening and making improvements every month. A great place to catch live performing national artists, jazz, readings and more.

We really enjoyed our visit. Staff was accommodating and friendly. Beautiful art, excellent music and even an African market. We will come again the next time we visit Columbus. What a treasure!

This is a great place to tour and learn about the history of the area, as they have a mini museum with art everywhere. Also, there is the Elijah Pierce Gallery, which is small but has rotating art exhibits from around the country and the world. While we were there, there was an exhibit from Asia. They have a large piece of installation art called "Cargo," which really makes an impact on the visitor, as you feel as though you are on a slave ship, and going through the gates of a slave fortress. The restored Pythian Theatre is beautiful, and I recommend seeing one of their many diverse programs in it.

I love to visit this facility for the Black History of Columbus. Since I am not originally from Columbus it helps me to understand the Columbus neighborhoods better. It also has nice entertainment space to hold events.

Went to see a one-man show there and was surprised at the beauty of this theater. Excellent acoustics and from the looks of the adjacent rooms to theater, a great place to hold an event. Convenient parking across the street. We will definitely watch for performances scheduled here. We'll be back

Our Martin Luther King Performing and Cultural Arts Complex is wonderful. I have been to many events over the years that have virtually used every available space - inside and out. I always expect to have a fantastic time. I'm never disappointed.
