A man was slashed in the face during a fight with two strangers in Lower Manhattan early Wednesday, authorities said.
The victim, 38, was squabbling with two other men on Broad Street near South William Street around 3:15 a.m. when he was slashed in the left side of the face with a knife, and struck on the right side with a machete handle, cops said.
His injuries were non-life-threatening, police said.
The suspects took off, heading west on Stone Street.
Police did not know what the men were arguing about.
