Lovely setting, excellent food, award-winning wine, delightful staff and a cozy cottage. There are not enough superlatives for this gem of a destination winery! Highly recommend the Private Tasting and the Tuscan Cottage for overnight. We will definitely be back!

I have been here several times and every time I'm in awe! The food is always so good! I'm not a fan of blue cheese but even the lettuce wedge salad was amazing!

Eat, Drink and Stay in this vineyard. Texas hill country meets Tuscany - indoors and out. Excellent service! Casual or dressy is your choice not theirs. The mussels can't be beat. The tasting flights are a must and led us to the Vermentino with dinner. Music on Fri and Sat was outstanding. Warm by the fire pit on the patio under the stars. Tuscan cottage was very comfortable with all needs met. The breakfast muffins and fruit were unexpected and wonderful. Walk the vineyard at sunrise. Enjoy!

My wife booked the trip for our anniversary. It was great that we only had to stumble across the parking lot to the cabin. It looks like a 200 year old Italian cabin, without the leaky roof & with modern amenities. The back faces the restaurant, so when you look out the front door, all you see is the vineyard and the hills. Beautiful. No passport or 12 hour plane flight required.

We just experienced this quaint, but up-and-coming, Vineyard in a small town in East Texas. Not only is the restaurant excellent with food/service/music: but also, there are two small cabins available for overnight stays. Great place for a family/friend reunion. The wines are excellent and the "experience" is over-the-top.
SO GLAD we spent the weekend with friends.
The cabins are not for everyone but the restaurant is a "Secret in East Texas".

Our travel group enjoyed a tasty meal on a Friday night at Los Pinos. Each of the six people in our group
ordered a different menu item from pizza to pasta to chicken-fried steak and everyone proclaimed their food
to be well prepared and pleasing. Only suggestion for improvement is that the young servers could be better
trained to deal with customers. Our server was certainly not "bad" but make a mistake by bringing a dish we
had not ordered and was argumentive when we nicely told the server that we had not ordered the item. Rather
than simply take the item away, the server insisted that we had ordered the dish. This dimmed an otherwise
pleasant dining experience at Los Pinos.
And, the wine selection and quality is outstanding.

I have been coming to LPRV for a while. It is my favorite place to go have a nice dinner and enjoy Texas Wine. Their menu changes slightly with each season - which I like. But, they keep the crowd favorites (Tapas Platter Fans Rejoice!). The chef also prepares weekend specials that are delicious! They recently started accepting reservations - if you use the Open Table App, it is very easy to make the reservation.
If you are looking for a romantic outing for two or having a Girls Night Out - LPRV fits the bill!
They even have two of their wines available frozen - Frose’ is the best! I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!

This was a nice surprise. My wife and like to try and visit at least one Texas winery when we go on vacation. On our way to the winery the roads reminded me of the narrow roads and lanes of traveling in old country Europe. When we arrived at the winery I was impressed with the well maintained vineyards and grounds. We did not eat there but did sample the wines and found them to be quite pleasant. I would highly recommend this winery. The people are pleasant and welcoming and make you feel right at home.

Pros - Very nice place to sample some wine and have some food.
Cons - Expensive food and wine for the quality. Way off the beaten path.

Overall, most of the wines I tried were very dull and watery. A bottle of 337 or Apothic Red for under $13 put almost all their Reds ($20+) to shame. That said, we did find a great desert wine with a unique flavor.

Beautiful place! Met some friends for dinner and wine. We sat outside on the patio. The view of the vineyard is gorgeous. The food and wine were so good. This is a hidden gem!
